I bought a new pair of black combat boots this year, and I am OBSESSED! They are black faux leather with a crocodile skin pattern, a bunch of buckle details and gold hardware, which I LOVE. I have been styling them with all kinds of outfits, but here are two of my favorite ways to wear them:
Outfit 1:
I have never been the type to wear an all black outfit – I don’t even wear black year round – but there’s something I LOVE about super light wash jeans paired with a black top and accessories. It really makes the denim pop! The blazer adds some class and pulls the look together, making it a perfect fit for fall.
This outfit would work with any black top and any black boots or heels, but there’s something about the combat boots that I think looks really cool! Especially contrasted with the blazer, which is usually worn with more dressy or professional shoes.
Outfit 2:
I have been seeing leopard print satin skirts EVERYWHERE lately, and I was super excited to find this one at Marshall’s! I love pairing it with a black top, jacket, shoes and accessories – I think it makes prints pop the same way as the light denim.
With all black clothes and accessories, the leopard print skirt really becomes the star of the show! The combat boots makes the whole outfit look a little bit more cool casual, but you could also dress it up with heels or booties if you *really* wanted to.
