Palm Beach Recap (and Tips for Dealing with Crappy Weather on Vacation!)

Palm Beach Recap (and Tips for Dealing with Crappy Weather on Vacation!)

I spent last week in Palm Beach for what was SUPPOSED to be a nice relaxing little trip away from the cold, but quickly went south when I realized I was only going to have one day of sun! Keep reading to see how I stayed sane and kept busy while it rained all week… Day 1: I am so glad I booked an early flight on my first day, because I found out right before I left that it would be the ONLY day of sun, and I definitely wanted to take advantage. How To: Style Black Combat Boots

Keep scrolling to see some of my favorite pics from my trip… Thanks for following on my adventure! Let me know if you have been to Shenandoah before or planning on going this fall before it gets too cold 💕

Honest Review of #29Rooms

Honest Review of #29Rooms

In case you have been living under a rock and didn’t see it all over social media, Refinery29 recently brought their #29Rooms exhibit to DC, and reviews were, um, *mixed*. I personally have a lot to say about it, so if you didn’t go or were just wondering what other people thought about it, then keep reading! The Good: Ok, how about we start with what they did well? First off, their social media presence leading up the event was very strong, and definitely built up a lot of hype! I personally had heard about 29 Rooms last year when it was in Brooklyn, but unfortunately did not get a chance to go, so I jumped at the opportunity to go when it came to DC! They definitely promoted it well enough to get people through the door, even on the first day (when I went). They also planned it…
