How To: Stay Sane When You Are Stuck at Home All Day (Due to Quarantine, Unemployment, Illness, etc)

First of all, let’s address the obvious: we are pretty much ALL miserable right now because of Covid-19 (CORONA VIRUS! *Cardi B voice*) and it really sucks, on SO MANY levels! Especially for those who are required to continue going to work despite the very real risk of catching the virus, those who have to stay home without pay or those who have lost their jobs altogether. I am one of the very very fortunate few that not only don’t have to go to work, but continue to get paid. Every year on my birthday, I take the opportunity to reflect on my last year of life and set goals and intentions for the upcoming year. Since my birthday is about halfway through the year, it’s also a great time to check in on my New Year’s goals and intentions, to see how far I have come and what work I have left to do to meet the rest. If you are reading this blog post, chances are you have read a how-to article about meditation, and feel like every time you read another one, you are even more confused about HOW to actually meditate! That is because there are a million and one ways to actually meditate, with none being better than the next.
