I don’t know about y’all, but May FLEW by for me! The first week of May was spent scrambling to prepare to fly to Israel for my grandma’s funeral services (I missed the actual funeral and shiva, but got to visit her gravesite), then going to Israel for a week, and then spending a full week adjusting back, and boom the month was over before I knew it! I started off May getting ANOTHER ulcer flare up, which most likely was caused by the grief of losing my grandma but was also exactly a year after I got it in the first place, making me think it was back on some “anniversary tour” 🙄 It was horrible timing before my trip, and definitely bothered me while I was there. Happy May everyone! It is finally starting to feel like spring here in DC, and I could not be happier about the warm weather! After going to Phoenix in March (see my travel guide here), I had no tolerance for winter anymore. The weather has been playing GAMES lately, so it better stay warm from here on out! Happy Monday and happy March 1st y’all!! I love when a new month starts on a Monday – it just gives what it’s supposed to give! All the motivating and fresh start vibes I love. Plus, the days are getting longer, the temperature is creeping up, and Spring is right around the corner! This is the first month that I feel somewhat settled going into the month – last month I was on my trip to Arizona when February started, and nobody is settled when January starts! I started a new job last month, and although I am not fully settled into it, I am definitely starting to get settled into my new routine, so it feels nice to start a fresh month off in that routine! Happy March bb’s! You know what this means – we’re ALMOST done with winter! I am personally looking forward to longer days (once daylight savings starts), warmer weather, and hopefully NO MORE SNOW! Happy first day of June y’all! Anyone else feel like summer came really fast? We literally just got our last snowstorm a couple months ago! Since I was in Israel for most of April, that month flew by, and May was super busy so it went quickly too! Although I am (obviously) elated that it is finally summer – any other summer babies out here? – it also means that the year is halfway over and is forcing me to reflect on the progress of my goals and intentions for the year.
