Travel Guide: Rehoboth Beach

I took a trip to Rehoboth Beach, DE a few weeks ago and had an amazing time! It wasn’t the most exotic or exciting trip of my life, but after the year we have had, it was exactly what I needed: relaxing, chill and fun! If you are planning a trip to Rehoboth before the end of summer or still need trip ideas for Labor Day Weekend, keep reading! Stay We stayed at Quality Inn & Suites (don’t ask who “we” is, mind ya business!) in Rehoboth Beach on Coastal Highway. It was about $400 for three nights, plus taxes, fees and a refundable deposit. We went Tuesday to Friday, so it may be a little more expensive on the weekend and holidays. The hotel was pretty basic, but seemed clean and was not crowded at all – we barely saw anyone else! Because of Covid, they only come into…

Palm Beach Recap (and Tips for Dealing with Crappy Weather on Vacation!)

I spent last week in Palm Beach for what was SUPPOSED to be a nice relaxing little trip away from the cold, but quickly went south when I realized I was only going to have one day of sun! Keep reading to see how I stayed sane and kept busy while it rained all week… Day 1: I am so glad I booked an early flight on my first day, because I found out right before I left that it would be the ONLY day of sun, and I definitely wanted to take advantage. I also felt like for such a short trip, it would have been a waste to get there later in the day regardless of the weather. I landed in Palm Beach at 9:30am, ELATED to be standing outside in a tshirt and biker shorts! I got to my AirBnb quickly, and was able to go straight…

Two Days in NYC

In case you missed it on Instagram, I went to NYC with my best friend last week for a couple days. Technically, it was like three-ish days, but we only got two full days together since we both got there late Wednesday night and she left early on Saturday morning. Anyway, it was my first trip to NYC this year (I know!!) and I was super excited to get some time in the city with one of my favorite people! As usual, I found us a dope (and cheap!) AirBnb in Brooklyn, which was our home base for the trip. Not only is it usually cheaper to stay in Brooklyn, but I love the neighborhood vibe it has compared to Manhattan. The place we stayed was super cute and spacious, but the only downside was that the hosts decided last minute to stay in town and were crashing on the…
